Modem Tweaks
This will help you get a better connection
step 1: right click on the my computer icon and click the properties.
step 2: then in the system properties click the device manager tab and click on the modem icon.
step 3: click on the modem properties and then click the connection tab.
step 4: now click the advanced button and in the extra settings type S11=50

Close Some Of The Running Programs
step 1: press ctrl + alt + delete all at the same time.
step 2: then shut down some of the programs to free up system resources
step 3: warning don't close systray and explorer.

Important if you are installing a program use this to close all running programs except the install program used to install the program and the two I told you about systray and explorer.

Computer Drives
step 1: right click on the my computer icon and click the properties.
step 2: thick the performance tab.
step 3: click on the file system button.
step 4: select how much you want the read-ahead optimization to get.
step 5: click on the cd-rom tab
step 6: the more the cache size the better
step 7: below that pick how much you want on that setting

Display
step 1: click on the start button at the bottom corner of your computer.
step 2: click on the settings button
step 3: click on the control panel button
step 4: click on the display button
step 5: under display properties click on the settings tab
step 6: under colors pick the highest number of colors,they go from least to greatest.
step 7: under srceen area pick 1024 by 768 pixels or if you have a big monitor pick the 1280 by 1024 pixels

Fix Some Computer Problems
step 1: click on the program menu
step 2: then click on the accessories menu
step 3: then click on the system tools menu

use Scan Disk to fix some of your computer problems and use Disk Deframenter to make your programs open faster.Also click on system information to fix the problems that scan disk can't fix.Under system information click the tools button to see the list of the other programs that fix what scan disk can't fix.
